Our Curriculum:
Since the fall, we have been using a new curriculum entitled My Great Big God form Gospel Light Ministries. It is a 52-week survey of the bible, which we will continue to follow for a full year.
Week by Week:
Each week the children encounter God through a story in the bible as well as crafts, worship, prayer, and activities. We have made copies of the worship CD so that your children can worship God with these songs all week long.
Every week there is a memory verse and key idea to go along with the lesson. With the schedule for Sunday School included and hand-outs provided weekly, we are hoping that you will bring the lesson to life outside of the class time.
As we continue to grow this ministry we are encouraging the teachers and helpers to build relationships with the families and be involved in the lives of the children outside of the lesson time.
GMC observes Holy Communion the first Sunday of every month, and we have decided to keep the children in the class and specifically share the gospel with the children during that extra time.
Nursery and Basement:
The basement is close to being used consistently and the nursery will be arranged for the mothers with young children. Please bring feedback and ideas so that this can be done well!

Welcome to Grace Montreal Church's website for Children's Ministry. This blog is to be a resource to the teachers for GMC Sunday school as well as for the parents of GMCKidz.
