Policies regarding Helpers:
Requirements:
- Someone who has an interest in being involved in the discipleship and evangeslization of GMC children.
- Someone who can build a relationship with the children and parents at GMC.
- Someone who is working towards membership at GMC through regular attendance at GMC Sunday service for at least the past 4 months and is involved in GMC community through Small Group, prayer and other activites.
- Ideally, someone who is training to become a teacher
Program:
-The Helpers are not to teach the kids alone, but to assist the teacher in watching over the kids while he/she teaches, especially when there is need for a child to sit apart from the class, one needs to go to the washroom, or needs to be taken back to their parents.
- The Helper is under the teacher’s supervision and authority.
